Theme and accesibility
It would be a good approach to give the Users under the Appearance tab to change different colours on Discord. That way we don't just have black & white, but what the individual user wants and possibility of less strain on the eyes. This can make a big difference in the current situation with different Users modifying their Discord client for this purpose. Meanwhile granting extra accessibility for all users and those who need it.
This would of course be some of the main areas of the app. Background, side panels, message colour and similar.

I would love this, light mode is too bright but dark-mode is too dark for my eyes, both cause eye strain for me with dyslexia and other issues. I'd love to be able to modify the colour. Fully customisable would be amazing, but even being able to modify the text and background colours to several more presets, or a slider allowing you to make the background different shades of grey would be great.
I know standard visual design is that higher contrast between font and background is easier to read, but I think for some ppl with dyslexia and other stuff like that it's easier to read less contrasted stuff sometimes. Idk if thats a universal but I've seen it talked about a bunch
