Notifications: Being notified, and then it disappears out of the inbox

Desktop: I can get a "beep" for a notification, and go to the inbox. I will see something on the top of the list for about half a second, and then it goes poof and disappears.

 

There is no way to find out why I was actually pinged, it is gone, and I can not find it.

 

There is no consistent pattern that I can determine, partially because I cannot tell what I'm not seeing, only that I am not seeing something.

 

Browser version. Chome 67, mac 10.9.5.

(NB: do NOT tell me to upgrade. I dual-boot into 10.12 when I must, and 10.12 breaks some things, and newer versions of the OS break more things; I still have a 32 bit app that I need and cannot upgrade.)

    I am getting the same issue with @here and @everyone notifications. They make the sound and shows up in the inbox for a split second before disappearing.

    It is definitely happening with here and everyone. It also happens with some roles.

     

    It happens *less* if I have been on the server recently, or if I have that server open in another tab.

     

    There is one or two servers  that seem to have this happen more than other servers.

    This happens to me constantly as well.  I'm in 31 servers with 301 unreads across them at the moment, so it's impossible for me to locate the source of the ping without the help of the inbox.

    I've carefully configured my notifications for these servers so I only get pinged for things I care about, so to know that I've been notified about something important, only for it to immediately disappear the moment I open my inbox, is extremely maddening.

    Discord, please fix this!  A properly functioning inbox is the only way for people who are members of tens of different servers to effectively keep tabs on them all!

    I cant believe it hasnt been fixed yet... i thought it was my laptops problem .. but i changed to a new pc and this still happens... its so annoying
