Text chat for voice

I was thinking, that it would be nice to be able to link a text channel to a voice channel, where you have the option of opening that channel in a pop-up window, enabling those who for whatever reason cannot use a microphone to use the text chat while still having a video feed on full-screen without requiring a second screen.
