Discord (in web browsers) ignores global text keyboard shortcuts in macOS.

macOS and iOS allow the user to store keyboard shortcuts for frequently-used text which are available in all apps that receive text input (not just Apple apps).

For example, I never type my email address; when I type "ssg,"  my email address is typed for me. When I type "ccom," the character "⌘" is typed for me. I have well over a hundred of these, which I use to type all sorts of phrases or characters.

This feature has been a part of macOS and iOS for years. Text shortcuts work in all web sites that receive text (that I've encountered so far)—except for discord.com. Discord inexplicably ignores them.

Why would discord.com be programmed in such a way as to prevent text shortcuts from working? Please, please fix this.
