Example: u have a meme channel and a general channel.You are not allowed to speak ( only allowed to send memes ) in the meme channel but you really want to response to a meme video that you just found. But currently, there is no way to answerping across different channels. This kind of improving would make life a bit easier.

  You could copy the message link and then ping the person that send it and react on it.

  Just a way I do it 😁
