Would a system to check if a user has a role in a server from an offsite website be allowed?

Hey guys i have a question. Would a bot that checks if a user has a role in a server be allowed? The owner of the server would know that the bot does that and it has also a security system so who wants to get that information has to pass a token in the request and the server would also have to be bound to the website to do it. I have everything ready but i just want to be sure that this isn't against the rules before using it. Should i ask this to the support?

    Mee6 and similar bots have been doing this for awhile, its safe to assume if the biggest bots around are able to then its alright to set up yours.

    Where did you get that information? When you go to the dashboard you are prompted with the authorization page so you kinda allow it. My bot doesn't have it as it's more a direct sort of proxy between a website and discord
