Pinned Messages

(Idk if this is in the wrong category, I'm not entirely sure where to put it)

How about a feature where it shows the pinned messages of a channel, when u click on it for the first time and the first time only
Or, in addition to the red ping notice on the pin-icon itself in the channel, when there has been a new pinned message since u joined the channel;  some form of highlighting the icon, when u haven't yet read the pinned messages of that certain channel.

Being on multiple servers where there's important information on how to use the text channel in the pinned messages, i've noticed people rarely ever see those
