Video pop-out improvements

I'm used to video-chat with my friends on a regular basis, but I also do other things while we video chat, so I always use the pop-out feature to continue doing what I'm doing while seeing them.
But there's something that always bothered me about it, the relativity with the screen size and actual video is not very good, since sometimes when resizing the window a lot of blank space fills the window's space instead of our webcams (Screenshot's link attached). Synchronizing the window size with "video rectangles" would maximize screen space. This would probably limit the window size freedom, but why would anyone use the minimmum sized window since barely any video can be seen. (Example of such impracticality attached.)
Hope one of the devs sees this and consider my suggestion. Keep up the good work!
