Increase spacing between consecutive messages

Please fix this, or at least make it an option. Just a visible line-break between consecutive posts from the same user. Perhaps adjustable to our liking, the way manual line breaks can be set. (But with the ability to make new post line breaks BIGGER than the already adjustable in-post paragraph spacings; for some reason on desktop, there's SOME separation, but it's WAY smaller than that of paragraphs, which makes NO sense, & for some reason those can't be made bigger.)

It's honestly unreasonable to NOT have space to help differentiate between posts, when every other chat program on the planet does this right. Especially in informal settings where capitalization & punctuation might not always be used. & it's difficult to tell which section to edit if I notice a typo; I often find myself long-touching/right-clicking the wrong group of text, both on the app & desktop versions.

It's just so nonsensical how it is now! Like, you'll see a nice big gap between multiple paragraphs in a single post (all about a related topic)... But then it blends almost seamlessly into an unrelated topic when the user makes a new post.

Like, one of the main reasons to start a new post is to separate a new topic from a previous one. You want a clear division between the two. But now it all gets muddled together.

& then the other main use is to start a new sentence, for many folx who like to convey their feelings or opinions as they come, & don't want to bother with end-sentence punctuation. This causes everything to look like run-on sentences, & makes it hard to read or make sense!

(& that goes double for people with disabilities like learning disabilities, visual impairments, brain fog, & language comprehension, who often type that way themselves, as well as having to read it from others. So this is also an accessibility issue! ...Though given the top-voted accessibility requests being ignored for 4+ years, that won't make this any more important to you guys, though they should be considered urgent needs...)

Discord is, as far as I know, the ONLY chat program that ignores the plain & simple reality that new posts should be separated from previous posts. It's common sense. It's Design 101. & it would be SUCH a RIDICULOUSLY easy fix. Just add some padding, & a user menu to adjust the values.

I'LL MAKE AN EXAMPLE, DISCORD TEAM; challenge yourselves & see how easy the upcoming mini story is to read (try out loud & see if it trips up your flow at any point). This is just how lots of people type for quick easy communication, using new lines as a substitute for a period; it's been the norm since the 1990s:

the quick brown fox jumped over the
lazy dog. the dog lifted his head in alarm
to which the fox taunted with a yap
that was all it took for the dog to snarl
with a flip of his paws, leaping forward
with a mischievous grin, the fox ran off

Now, tell me... Which animal does the line "with a flip of his paws, leaping forward" apply to? The dog or the fox?
I wrote it so it could apply to either one.
Except this very problem happens everyday by accident, due to the lack to spacing between new posts. If there were spaces between new posts, you'd have immediately known how to start reading every sentence without confusion (possibly at several points). & remember, that confusion is multiplied for the many of us with disabilities.

See? Common sense. Line breaks between individual posts from the same users, adjustable as we see fit.

[Or AT VERY LEAST if you guys want the simplest band-aid solution: When we try (in vain) to add an extra ENTER at the beginning, or at the end, of our posts to manually create that extra spacing... Let it happen. Remove the command that deletes that line. Just let those be there & that's a quick & dirty fix. (Limiting it to 1-2 lines is fine, so it's not abused to make big blank spaces & long posts... But do allow enough to make one separator.]

...But of course, we'd prefer an actual automatic fix to this long, LONG overdue problem. Please fix this soon. It can't be that hard. Thanks.

    EDIT: ALTERNATIVE SOLUTION:

Give us the option to not group messages by user at all. Let each line have their username & timestamp, which can make new posts easy to differentiate. Once again, just an option, not forced on everyone, so there's literally no drawbacks.

There are several solutions, all simple. It would hurt nobody & help EVERYBODY to just take, like, 20 minutes & add one of these in the next update. Please & thank you.
