Feature Request: Add the ability to change the location of the server list within the desktop app
Mission Statement: Add the ability to change the location of the server list within the desktop app. This could be completed by incorporating it in one or more of a few ways;
- Drag & Drop: much like the drag and drop nature of the menus and widgets within apps like OBS.live, you could simply allow the user to click and drag the server list. However due to the obvious nature of the app, it would be best limit the range of change to one of four designated spots within the application. This would include the obvious top, left (default), right, and bottom. (Potentially five total spots: this depends on if you want to allow the server list to be pulled outside of the app to become its own separate window.)
- Menu Based Selection: you could add this feature as a drop down setting within the "Appearance" tab within settings. Once again giving the user the option of 4 (5?) different spots to place the server list within the desktop application.
- Keyboard Shortcuts: Allowing users to use a keyboard shortcut while in-app to adjust the position of the server list. This could be completed mostly in the same fashion as your server grouping update that recently came out, or the shortcuts for navigating between servers: a combination of two distinct keys used alongside the arrow keys to determine server list location.
- All of the above!
Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to additional feedback that can be offered along the way.
