Active now tab for portrait monitors

I honestly enjoy having the active now tab and i decided to put my 2ed monitor in portrait mode. I was hoping there would be a way to have it take up the bottom portion on the friends tab though when the window is big enough like it does in landscape mode. At at leave give us an option to make it a toggle.
