Microphone view when server muted

We're having a problem with users thinking they have muted their mic when they see we have server muted them. 

Maybe that icon could show the state of their account mic mute instead of the server mute

    Depends how you mute it.Via the app? Then yes, an icon is shown next to your name of a crossed microphone.Via controls on the mic or headset? Depending on the type of button, there might be a bit of feedback that can be recognized by someone as you muting or moving your mic.However, there's one really easy way to tell. Background noise. Normally you'll always have a bit of sound being transmitted, whether it's breathing, key or mouse click, a fan or something external like traffic on a road.
