Certain buttons in the User display in a call are unresponsive

Certain buttons in the User display area of voice and video chats are unresponsive unless menus are dragged all the way up/up to a certain point (even though the menu is not dropping and the button is clearly visible). This also applies to buttons on the ongoing call UI itself when the phone is set to a certain rotation.

For example:
The "participants" button is unresponsive when in a video call in landscape mode for an extended period. Flipping the phone will make the button work.
This affects the Android version on certain Samsung devices and is difficult to reproduce
