Share screen in a private channel (Admins/moderators)

Hi,

Sometimes you need to have someone that doesn't have permission to view the channel in your room, either for moderation purposes or something else, and you want them to share their screen with you.

But, Discord currently doesn't allow others to share their screens if they don't have View Channel permission, and that creates a barrier for moderators to do that and makes it difficult, so you either need to give them personal permission or a role specified for that or privately call them.

That's why we need to make an exception to that and make them only need video permission to share their screen on these private channels.

    That is a big problem for moderation. I hope discord will fix this issue because it will makes things a lot easier for us.

    Seems like this is still a issue? Because i couldn't get it to work still with just the video permission.

    And still, this is a big existing issue. Discord, please start and fix your issues.

    When you lock down channels, you can't share your screen.
    We have a Support Discord, where we help people via screen share.
    We have closed channels, so nobody can access the channel without being moved in.
    But you can't share the screen when this channel is closed.

    So now we have to open a channel, where everyone can join AND see the screen share preview… Talking about safety and privacy this is really NOT DONE.
