Private calls
Best Discord Community.
I wonder if it would be possible to introduce a feature for mobile phone devices that makes it possible to disable the screenshotting and screen recording feature. This would obviously require the express permission from the operative system and user and would be very limited in scope.
Snapchat does notify you when a screenshot has been taken. But at this point it is too late for those of us who would never want their photos proliferated on the web. Some of us have strong privacy concerns (especially those of us who have "protected personal information" due to having been subjected to, for example, a crime).
A feature as described above would force one to use a different device in order to snap a photo or record a video of the other call participant, which would then be made more apparent. This would make it a lot more comfortable to reveal one's appearance.
Maybe this has significant technical complications, but I would strongly view this as a very important feature for comfortable calls.
Thanks for your time and consideration!
Best regards,
Erik from Sweden

omfg just don't show your face to people you can't trust, or even talk to them
and where is the difference between recording on mobile or on desktop with obs?

RainerZufall, do you spend a lot of time dismissing people's comments/concerns without good reasoning? And, NO, revealing your face is sometimes a necessity in order to start communicating. And, quite frankly, I wouldn't trust anyone with a photo of my face, especially a girl who became mad because of unshared feelings.

I was wondering if this could be implemented for mobile devices only.
