Need to make room on your computer by saying buh bye to an installed game? No problem! It’s pretty easy to uninstall games. This guide will show you how.

Note: You’re only able to uninstall games that you’ve downloaded from Discord. Games you’ve imported over from other platforms you won’t be able to uninstall via the Discord app.

Method 1

This is the simplest way! Keep in mind you will need to be signed into your Discord account in order to uninstall the game with this method.

First, head into the Library tab & right-click on the game you’d like to uninstall. If the game is installed you will see the option to Uninstall. Select Uninstall & our hamsters will take care of the rest! Simple as that!

Note that this Library tab only appears to those that have purchased a game on the Discord platform. If you're not seeing this tab it's because you haven't purchased a game:

Method 2 

You’ll want to use this method if you find yourself in the situation of being unable to log into your Discord account & uninstall conventional way. If you didn't select a custom location when you installed the game, the default install location of these Discord games is located on your PC under: 

Users > (Profile) > AppData > Local > DiscordGames

Heading into this folder you’ll see a list of games that you have installed. Right-click the game folder you’re trying to uninstall & select Delete. Refresh the app & you should no longer see this game installed. 

If you used a custom install location instead of the default, head to your custom install location and delete the game from there instead! 

NOTE: Currently, this method of uninstalling your games won't remove their entries from Windows's Apps & features list (also called Add/Remove Programs on Windows 7)
