There is a fix for screenshare audio on Linux, but Discord isn't implementing it
Screenshare has no audio on Linux. As more and more owners get a Steam Deck and/or switch to Linux using other means, there will be more pressure to get this issue solved.
Someone on GitHub has already solved the problem. It was written for Chromium but can be implemented in the main Discord Linux desktop client as it was developed using Electron, which is based on Chromium. Here is the fix: https://github.com/edisionnano/Screenshare-with-audio-on-Discord-with-Linux
Discord support told me they have no plans to implement this fix unless this post gets enough upvotes. I don't agree with their method of holding a feature hostage, but please upvote so they may reconsider their stance on Linux.

Doesn't work anymore. Video lags way behind. Discord must implement official support.

Please discord just do this already

Discord, why not do this? I appreciate the support you have on Linux already, but it would be great to have full support. Hell, if this feature was implemented, I’d pay for nitro on principle
