Request for a true message thread function
Dear Discord Devs,
Please please add a true message thread function if possible. The ability to search mentions: user is a VERY poor workaround. For example, today I found a beautiful image in the Midjourney server, which had three comment responses I wished to view -- and possibly respond to. But to find those three responses I would have had to plough through literally hundreds of unrelated following posts, and responding to them would be meaningless for the same reason.
Or, as it had been a while since the image was posted and the poster is someone who interacts copiously, mentions: user ALSO meant ploughing through many many unrelated posts and images.
These difficulties are a real downer for community-building discourse and dampen true conversation. It’s probably the most limiting feature of Discord for me and I’d LOVE a solution. Thanks!!

I don't understand what makes "true message thread function" different than what's already there. Can you elaborate on exactly what that does?
You have described the problem but I can't seem to understand your proposed solution.

You can post a message to a message queue by using the PostMessage function. PostMessage places a message at the end of a thread's message queue. This invokes the run() method in a separate thread of control. Once the thread's activity is started, the thread is considered 'alive'. ManageMyHealth.co.nz

This calls the run() function in a different thread of control. Once thread activity begins, the thread is termed 'alive'.
