Remove the Moderator Programs Alumni badge
Hello everybody. As you may all know, the certified moderator badge has been renamed to Moderator Programs Alumni and it is no longer Obtainable. This feedback is to ask Discord to remove this badge. The reasons will be stated below.
To keep it simple, the badge simply has no value and it's now more like an Early supporter badge with no sense of purpose behind it. Most of the certified moderators were those who simply just filled out an exam, got in, and did nothing except waiting and talking for 3 months in order to get a shiny blue badge with no means behind it. Simply, the badge is like a spam badge now and Discord can't keep making new badges and discontinue them after 1 year and then not get rid of the badge completely causing spam badges in user profiles.
Those certified moderators that joined in without doing the exam, could have done their hard work for the community without the badge either. If the certified moderators are against the badge being removed from everyone's profile, they are likely badge hunters who did the exam and stayed 3 months just for the badge.
My point is that a badge that didn't even stay continued for over 2 years, shouldn't be left in certified moderator's profile. No one really cares if you are one; there is no point in keeping this badge in the profiles of those who passed. Some say that the badge was given as a 'Thank you' but a Thank you can be in many forms rather than an orange pixel on your profile that doesn't do anything for discord users nor the moderators themselves.
