Translation errors in system dialog messages
I have noticed several translation issues that don't seem to be auto-translate problems, but rather a problem of translation without context. Out-of-context translations can be a long list of items to be translated pulled out of the app into a database, then presented to a translator (software or human) and then injected into the app again 1 on 1. This has caused issues with translations in the past and is still doing so. How is it possible that a community app of this magnitude does not crowdsource native speakers to review and correct?
The example that brought me here today, is the Dutch translation of the dialog box for confirming to mark all servers as "read".
The title of that box reads "confirm all servers as unread". Which is an issue for obvious reasons. The actual button does read "mark as read", so an in-context translation would never have had this error.
Suggestion/request:
1. short term: fix this one error quickly by changing "ongelezen" to "gelezen" (unread to read)
2. create an easier and more efficient feedback mechanism to allow you to crowdsource the knowledge of native speakers to fix issues in their language version of Discord. This will save expenses on ridiculous bulk translation services and will improve the community engagement of Discord as a whole.

You can report translation errors at https://dis.gd/lang-feedback, there’s a dedicated support type for it.
