Please don't move the star for favoriting gifs

The star button to favorite gifs has been moved from the top-right corner to the top-left corner.  The UI was fine before the star was moved.  It really bothers me when UI things are changed.  Please don't rearrange things or change the shapes of buttons for no good reason. 

This change had no benefit, and it has negative effects because Discord is a comfortable, familiar, and safe place for me, and when some corporate entity comes and messes with it, it makes me really really uncomfortable.  It's like if my parents came and rearranged the furniture in my room.  You shouldn't change things like this unless it is absolutely necessary.  This is going to bother me every time I see it for like weeks, just like the font does.  

I hate when social media companies rearrange the UI for no reason in ways that either have no effect or make things even harder.  I heard the usual reason is because the UI designers need to look productive but nothing is needed, so they do a bunch of unnecessary stuff to pretend to be useful.  Maybe something's wrong with Discord's productivity-judging measures or management or something, that enables UI designers to pretend like this and actually succeed.  Idk, whoever is overseeing the UI stuff needs to make them stop changing cosmetic things like font and location of buttons, and just leave my comfortable and familiar experience alone. 

Stop paying them to do this unproductive/counterproductive BS.  They should add a favorite-this-gif star to mobile which appears once you tap the gif, since that functionality is actually missing and wanted, instead of wasting company time moving random things around and bothering the users.

    It's not even consistent, it's in the top-left when you see it in chat but it's in the top-right when you see it in your favorited gifs menu.  Who let this happen?

    I wholeheartedly agree. This change doesn't bring anything new, and it's just plain annoying having to learn the star is suddenly elsewhere.

    they literally had no reason to even do this, why on earth did they bother? years of muscle memory lost, and my dumb idiot thought they completely removed the star x_x
