Enable Visible Filenames on uploaded videos
A new element of the (very poor quality) media update is that videos no longer have their filenames visible, requiring one to download the video to see them. This is inferior to the previous version of Discord as it let you see these, and this could be important to give context to videos as well as their file type, file size, and other useful information. Discord should not be a social media site that doesn't show you these things; it can be important not just for file management but also for moderation, in case users send unallowed content and text through the videos' filenames.

I completely agree, I would like to see not only the filenames, but the file extensions, as these are important to me. You never know when it might be a .webm designed to crash your discord haha. Additionally I cant stand the new image/video mosaic they got going on, just makes the app feel weird and rounded and clunky; not really a gamerzone anymore

Agreed completely. I love the bigger default image window sizes, but the mosaics and loss of visible file names confuse me. I think valuable and practical features such as these should not be removed. They remove clarity and context that could just be seen at a glance.
