Screen sharing stream viewing with abnormal large green bar on top (in android Discord app)

Hello everyone,

I come to ask if anyone has experienced something like this.
Due to professional reasons, my girlfriend is currently working away from home and therefore we use discord to communicate regularly and at the end of the day, share some leasure time viewing movies and / or tv shows, which i stream (sharing the player) from my windows Discord app which she views on her android Discord app.

However, since a few week ago, a green bar started appearing overlaying the stream when there previously was none. This obstructs a top part of the stream and is not ideal, and we have been unable to hide that bar as we cannot find anything in settings to that effect.

To make it worse, more recently that green bar has doubled in size becoming abnormaly large, covering up even more of the top area of the stream.

In addition, the bright green color also causes an aberrant contrast, specially when viewing darker scenes, which makes it quite unconfortable to look at.

Are we missing something?
As anyone else noticed / experienced this isssue?
Does anyone have a fix for this??
