Text block feature malfunctioning

When I try using the Quotes text block (what happens when I use ">" followed by a space) which makes a grey vertical line to precede the text, it's not working anymore. This started happening right after the recent update. The link below is to a Google Drive folder with screen images as examples.

Image 3: after submitting and the change didn't stay.

    You know, I was just about to make a post about this, myself. More clearly; it still works on the first group of a message (eg, insert quoted text, with or without line breaks, and then your comments underneath), but anywhere else seems to break.
    I sincerely hope it's not intentional, and especially so that it's not here to stay. Discord devs don't care, of course, but nonetheless we're allowed to hope, right?

    In the event this does stick around, I fully plan on just using the vertical bar to indicate the same operation, and earnestly recommend that everyone else does as well.
