  I couldn’t agree more! I just made a complaint about it, why did they make it such a hassle? It was just fine before.

  absolutely this, I need a toggle to turn this off entirely. I used to swipe that way to see who was online, so changing this is super counter-intuitive and punishing for anyone who has used the app before. If I wanna reply I will just poke in on the message and reply, as before. I don’t wanna do that all the damn time, like the app now believes of my fumbling hands.
