Option to enable iOS badge notifications for servers

The current iOS badge functionality where ONLY @mentions and DMs create a badge is a massive hurdle to having a small server to function as an enhanced group chat. I understand why it is the default functionality, as it would be useless for users in multiple large servers, but many users (especially those who were just convinced to sign up) are not "power" Discord users - they're in just a couple small servers and they do not regularly open the app without a notification to. But standard banner notifications can be missed, accidentally dismissed, or even disabled entirely because they can be intrusive, and people often rely on the red badge icon to remind them that they have messages (in other chat apps). But since Discord doesn't have that, they don't ever open the app.

An option in the Notification settings to enable badges for specific channels or servers would be a huge enhancement to the app for these kinds of users, and might actually draw them in to use it more.

This is such a big issue that I am likely to have to find a new app to use instead of Discord, so you're losing out on users.

I know there are already posts on this topic, which I upvoted, but most aren't actually in the "Mobile" section which seems the most appropriate.

Discord values user feedback and takes it into account when making changes to their platform, so I encourage you to share your thoughts and concerns with them. In the meantime, you may want to explore other notification options within the Discord app, such as push notifications or custom notification settings, to help ensure you don't miss any important messages.
