Onboarding: Remove Default Channel Requirements
I'd like to see the removal of the requirements on the Default Channels sections for the Onboarding feature.
For communities that don't need a general space or maybe only have a handful of general spaces, it makes the feature unusable. Which is a shame as the UX is fantastic and would allow more of us to move away from clunky bot role assignments.

I agree with this. I love the design and layout of the feature, but I can't use it because my server doesn't give hardly any permissions to @everyone. Members must first do some verification stuff through the server bots before they get their new role that allows the to engage in the server. Because of this, I cannot use the Onboarding feature even though I want to. It would also take away any need for bots' reaction roles which don't look that good.

Absolutely agree with this. I have a channel gated server and have the @everyone role with the send and read messages permissions denied. It's either change the permissions or the feature cannot be enabled which is annoying.

I concur as well. I am reducing a lot of previous spread out channels in favor of forum channels and role based access for some support channels and my server falls below the required default amount of `@everyone` channels.

I agree, the only reason I can see admins wanting so many default requirement of channels is if they have a laid back server or want to learn how it works. Otherwise, this restriction is unnecessary. Also nothing else in Onboarding can be edited if the requirements aren't met.
Needs fixing.

Absolutely! I currently have a server that I'm attempting to set up onboarding on. I don't want to have channels where @everyone can type In them. This is why I've set up a verification feature with a bot. I've been trying to figure out a work around, but I can't seem to find one. Discord, please just remove this requirement.

In most of my channels, everyone can post in threads, but only staff can post plain messages. If the onboarding interface counted that as an everyone-can-interact channel then I'd personally be fine - though I do think just the idea of having a minimum requirement is outrageous. Especially when the whole point of default channels is supposedly to reduce the unnecessary clutter in a server??

I agree with this wholeheartedly. The idea of requiring a server to have X number of channels and Y number of @everyone channels to use this feature is asinine and arbitrary. Not every community is going to need 7 channels and 5 @everyone channels, but every community could potentially benefit from this feature. It seems absurd to me to lock a feature that every community could benefit from behind an unnecessary requirement wall that only meets the needs of some communities. It seems to encourage forcing communities to employ more channels than they need...just for the sake of having more channels. Please, remove this pointless requirement
