Web mobile versions instead a app? (PWA Featured)
It's pretty just ridiculous, but not everyone can install Discord on their phone. Some users just being stuck with a Linux phone or being locked with a old android phone or an old iOS iPhone. So there why Web Mobile versions should exist. Has the same way that how YouTube works.
YouTube use both PWA and Native app to perform well. But with the advantage of PWA is due to the lightweight and the portability of the app when the native one is kinda heavy and not flexible and when an device get older, it's become a problem due to obsolete OS where you cannot upgrade your OS. Soo the idea is all about to bring an mobile web version of Discord for misc. mobile devices when the app is not available to install.
I saw some modded clients use the similar technique from ElectronJS that use chromium based. So idk why Discord cannot build his own PWA that could make things more available to Chrome OS, older android and iOS devices? If Discord can build an ElectronJS App based on same technique to PWA, why there no mobile versions with PWA available?

The problem is because not everyone have some space for their phone and mostly the issue come from older phones such iphone and android for the case. And the problem is again, Discord decide to remove their app from old devices in appstores that just not let's user to keep using it. Adding the PWA and an mobile web version could solve the problem for old discontinued devices until they save money to buy a new one. But unfortunelately, phones are very highly too much expensive and not everyone can buy it has you may know. By adding an web app feature could help a bit for old devices. Just require chrome or safari and you are ready to go.

There are some benefits to using PWAs for Discord. For example, PWAs do not require users to download an app from an app store, which can make the onboarding process simpler and quicker. PWAs also have the advantage of being cross-platform, meaning that they can be used on a variety of devices and operating systems. Additionally, PWAs can offer features like offline access, which could be useful for users who may not have a reliable internet connection.
However, there are also some potential drawbacks to using PWAs. For example, PWAs may not be able to access certain hardware or software features on a user's device, which could limit the functionality of the application. Additionally, PWAs may not be able to offer the same level of performance as native apps, which could impact the user experience.
Overall, while there are some benefits to using PWAs for Discord, it ultimately depends on the specific needs and preferences of the Discord community. Discord may want to consider offering both a dedicated app and a PWA, so that users can choose which option works best for them.
