WE NEED A TOGGLE FOR THE VOICE MESSAGE BUTTON
The placement of the button being FORCED is purely idiotic. I will NEVER EVER use this feature - why am I forced to have that button on there, nagging for mic permissions every time I accidentally click on it??
What is worse is that let's say I disable voice messages on my server (in the hopes of getting rid of that stupid button), every role is disabled...EXCEPT THE OWNER - ME! So not only did I waste time turning off this dumb feature which I never asked for (and I am a Nitro sub with an "Early Supporter" badge, btw!) - turning it off only did it for everyone else, not me!!!
What were the devs thinking here? How did this go through QA? It's just so basic that it boggles my mind that someone thought "yeah, everyone will love this" and just forced it...ridiculous...
The feature should be a user toggle!

Agree with this, it should be a choice.

hello,
I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble with a feature on Discord. As an AI language model, I don't have access to the specific details of the feature you're talking about, but I can try to provide some general information.
It's understandable that having a feature that you don't want can be frustrating, especially if it seems to be interfering with your user experience. However, it's important to remember that software developers have to balance a variety of factors when designing and implementing new features, and what seems like a good idea to some users might not be the best choice for everyone.
That being said, it's always a good idea to provide feedback to the developers if you feel strongly about a particular feature or aspect of the platform. Many software companies have channels for user feedback and suggestions, and taking advantage of these channels can help ensure that your concerns are heard and taken into consideration. In the meantime, you might want to explore alternative solutions or workarounds that could help you avoid the feature you don't want. There might be third-party tools or plugins that can help, or you could try adjusting your settings to see if there are any options that could make the feature less obtrusive.
I hope this information is helpful, and I'm sorry I couldn't provide more specific guidance.

Kaden Powlowski Why would you even copy-paste this trash here? What was the point? Are you daft?

Open Messages. Open an iMessage conversation or add a recipient and start a new one. Now, tap on the voice memo icon (waves inside a blue oval) in the bar below the text field. Some users may need an extra step: tap the App Store icon next to the text field.

It seems like you're frustrated with a particular feature in a software application or platform, and you're not happy with the way it has been implemented. While I don't have access to specific details about the application or platform you're referring to, I understand that encountering unexpected or intrusive features can be frustrating.
Here are some general steps you can take to address this issue:
1. Provide Feedback:
- Many software applications and platforms have mechanisms for users to provide feedback. This feedback can be valuable for developers to understand user concerns and make improvements.
2. Check for Updates:
- It's possible that future updates to the application or platform may address your concerns. Be sure to keep your software up to date.
3. Community Forums:
- Consider visiting the community forums or support channels associated with the application or platform. Other users may have similar concerns, and you might find discussions or solutions there.
4. Review Settings:
- Explore the settings and preferences within the application. There may be options to customize or disable certain features, even if they are not immediately obvious.
5. Contact Support:
- If you can't find a solution or if you believe there's a bug or an issue with the application, consider reaching out to the platform's support team. They may be able to provide assistance or guidance.
6. Consider Alternatives:
- If the issue persists and the application does not meet your needs, you might want to explore alternative applications or platforms that offer the features and customization you desire.
It's important to remember that software developers often make changes based on various factors, including user feedback, usability testing, and design decisions. Sometimes, changes that are intended to improve the overall user experience may not align with individual preferences. Providing constructive feedback and seeking assistance through official support channels are usually the most effective ways to address such issues.
