files attached from share sheet on Android randomly fail to upload

I've noticed that when sharing multiple files from Google Photos (or really any app) on Android, it very often happens to be the case that after entering text as part of the message and choosing a channel, one of two things tend to happen:

1. when Discord brings up the thread to share to, the message and its attachments will disappear and fail to attach without any kind of dialog, even after confirming all files are under the 25mb upload threshold.
2. the files and message do appear, but will remain stuck at 100% during the upload process.

it is excessively frustrating that in order to ensure a file is attached, I have to select it from Discord's file picker rather than share it directly to Discord from whatever other app I'd normally use.
