Friend notification option for servers

In the notification settings there are currently three options: all messages, only @mentions, and nothing. I would like to request a fourth option: messages from friends, in servers with a lot of people i dont want to be spammed with every message in the server but it would be nice if when my friends send messages they wouldnt need to ping me for me to see it, i know there is another suggestion similar to this already but it seemed to go in the opposite direction.
