If Discord thinks I’m going to keep paying for Nitro if they make me change my username they’ve got another thing coming

Absolutely ridiculous. The current system works fine, and this change is guaranteed to anger literally every single user. I can’t fathom why discord would think this was a good idea. Anyway, I’m not paying to have a username with three underscores like on Neopets.

  I'd be almost tempted to switch to an entirely different platform like Guilded, and encourage everyone I know to do the same. This sucks, it's unasked for, and it's going to add a lot of confusion and frustration to the entire platform.

  For sure. CANCEL NITRO NOW. Cancel nitro NOW, and cite THIS AS THE REASON. If anyone's been waiting to cancel nitro for 'if' they do this - cancel it now! Don't wait. They won't listen if you wait.
