Username changes unwanted

Why not ask your user base what their opinion on this is? The numbers being the identifier make things better so multiple people can have a name they want. Four numbers being the only thing I have to consider, is easier than trying to find “@JennifertheFrog199394737181992”. The user base widely hates even the idea of this change. It doesn’t make it easier for anyone, you’re trying to mimic social media platforms that aren’t even as good as discord.

    removing discriminators won't actually remove them—it will just force them to be part of people's usernames, which is undesirable.

    I hate everything about this new change and I know I will not have the name I want or even close to it! There is more downsides to this than ups and I don't think they are listening to people saying NO to this.

    My username is Unleashed75 and this is what I've had for over 10 years. Now, because I joined late to discord, it'll be gone and I'll have to be Unleashed759758 or some bull.

    Worst change ever thought of, when what they have is working perfect for everyone already apart from some Head CEO who wants just Dave or something.
