Severe performance issues with new mobile layout

App performance in general in the new UI (like switching between channels, loading the app after launching it etc...) is much slower than the old UI. Switching between new and old UI/layout also makes the app freeze for a few seconds. Animations are kind of sluggish in the new layout too. Anyone else experiencing the same issue?
