Avatar decorations
Today (10/5) the limited time avatar decoration perk died just like 4 months ago with the christmas ones. I dont get why this is even time limited, I get having SOME time limited decorations, but there should still be a decent amount of decorations we can use all the time without worrying about time limit.
Discord needs to stop taking perks off nitro users, specially with customizable discriminators also getting canceled. Im paying $10 a month for nitro and this is what I get? For $10 I cant even have some flowers in my profile? Ridiculous.
There is no point in making avatar decorations seasonal when all it does is make people mad and unsub from nitro. Let us have an acceptable some level of customization that isn't time limited please...
Edit: Either this or lower the price of nitro, because at this point its not worth it at all, and the main problem is that im not even complaining about missing or insufficient perks, I'm complaining about perks that were there and discord just spits on us and takes them away still expecting us to pay the same price with less and less perks.

Not sure what you mean by pointless, its cosmetic, it isn't meant to provide the ability to do something or increase your capabilities like the increased upload limit or being able to use external emojis/stickers.
Its like having a skin on a game or buying clothes you like irl instead of using a plain white tshirt because "its pointless".
I get if you dont like customization and buy nitro for the other perks, but the vast mayority of us do and while decorations were active, everyone with nitro I saw aside from like 2-3, had one on. Pretty much same with the discriminator/tag.

Just my opinion, some of them are nice, some of them not really. And there really shouldn't be a price drop in nitro for avatar decorations since those happen in the seasons, precisely.

Oh well yeah, to be fair out of the ones this seasons I only liked the flowers and the doggos a little. I dont think there should be a price drop only for the decorations either, but combining both avatar decorations and tags leaving...
Idk, I guess I just think we deserve more for $10, specially because like I mentioned, in this case they are deleting perks, so it just feels like inflation, like getting less for the same amount of money yk.

They've deleted perks from Nitro Classic and now they call it basic, that's a big change to perks
Idk why do you think they're getting rid of perks, the only actual perk that will eventually be off Discord is the tag customizer

I used to be a nitro classic subscriber, I do think the change to basic was good overall, $3 for those perks is a good deal and being able to use both external emojis and stickers when classic only allowed emojis was nice.
However, going back to nitro, yeah, I kinda feel like theyre getting rid of perks, this post points out avatar decorations, because although its not like theyre getting rid of it, it makes no sense that its time limited, so we get like a month of decorations every 4 months or so? Also tag customizer indeed which is a hard hit.
Meanwhile the perks they've added don't make up for these perks we are loosing.
Themes? Literally just BetterDiscord but worse and limited, ill only take it because its official and not third party. Options are not that great either.
Activities? Used to be with server boosts for a while, they only switched it to a nitro perk to push the subscription, plus im pretty sure gartic phone is one of the nitro ones currently, and its a free game, so they just slapped a paywall on there.
Super Reactions? I dont think I even have to comment, just meh and we only get 5 a week.
I dont think having some avatar decorations is a lot to ask for a $10 subscription when its already something that exists and has been launched, they just decide to give it to us for 1 month and make us wait until next time, just give us like 5 options we can use all year and add some seasonals, literally everyone happy and maybe itll help with this huge wave of people saying they are unsubbing, but I guess they dont care until their pockets finally take the hit, so well see...
