Option to strip emoji from channel names to improve readability

On desktop, I find that servers which use emoji in their channel names for decoration add too much visual noise to the channels list and it makes it uncomfortable to browse, and takes longer for me to read their names and recognise if they have unread messages.

I would like an option to strip channel names of emoji in the client.
