What I like: The server selection pop-up menu.

I like the labeled groups, and even if I dislike the Apple-style group drawers, the layout isn't horrible and I'm sure I'd get used to it eventually.

 

What I don't like: The new server landing page/channel selection page.

I like being able to switch between channels quickly without having to back out of one page and go into another, and the information I get in exchange for losing the small menu isn't helpful to me. If I'm checking a channel it's because I want to see ALL of the messages in a channel; it's never because I saw the latest one and that intrigued me. 

Personally, I think a hybrid approach would be better. Give us the new server selection menu but leave the sliding sidebar for channel selection.

    I agree the backing out to switch channels is an annoying thing. Like if I'm in the server can they please be on the side to scroll so I don't have to back out. I don't find it fun at all and it's not annoying
