Sensible tweaks to Discords new reply / quote feature

I believe todays update to replies on PC / browser illustrates as to why iOS's method of replies makes the most sense, let me explain.

On iOS the "reply" feature adds important context, that the reply is well... a reply:

I believe rather than now, where the reply feature is used to reply or quote by toggling the @ / pinging:

The methodology / design language originally administered to the iOS reply feature should be applied to replying / quoting across all platforms, where replying and quoting display as separate options with distinct visual context that makes sense, here's an example:


Where the message glows yellow if you're the one being replied to obviously, apologies for the lack of consistency in users and messages, it was just a lot easier to edit this way.
