Allow for "ping" sounds when tagged in muted servers
I mute most servers I am a part of so that when a new message appears in one of the smaller private servers, I can easily see due to the change in application icon. (Additionally, it's a lot cleaner to see all the other servers listed without the "New Message" icon beside them if they're essentially guaranteed to always have new messages)
For a large public server that I am active in, I'm not interested to have any indication as to if there are new messages unless I am actively looking at the server, so muting it works perfectly in that respect. I can still go and see if a channel has new messages, but just when I go check on that server specifically.
The issue I'm having is that if a user from one of those large servers tags me, I won't be notified with a sound. Currently, discord's icon does change, and it shows that I have been tagged, but there is no audio cue that would alert me to this if I wasn't looking at discord. Despite having the server muted due to the reasons listed above, I'm still interested in immediately knowing if I specifically have been tagged.
Why I think this matters: If I were in a mod role, I would not be able to utilize the "new message" icon (as I would never be able to make sure every channel is marked as read), as responding to tags immediately would be more important, meaning I would require the the sound.
TL;DR: Muting sounds and muting visual cues should be separate options as they have separate use cases.
