Fix Mobile System Font Size (iOS)

The current implementation of following font sizes based on system accessibility settings is poor at best (on iOS). It doesn't match the rest of the system and leaves me a connundrum. Do I adjust the font size to easily read on Discord which makes fonts too large in other apps, or do I adjust it for other apps and have a hard time reading on Discord? On top of that, not all elements are properly adjusted for larger font sizes and will clip text or just generally look strange.

 

What?

- Fully support dynamic system text/font size on mobile.

- Fix elements that don't get adjusted along with it (channel names, maybe more. Give the text some margin)

 

Why?

- System consistency

- Readability

    Want to echo this 100x. And curious if this is just an iOS issue? I see this issue across multiple apps (in particular with Google) and did not run into this as much on Android (recently switched).

    Agreed. I just sent in feedback for this. The font size is particularly small when viewing on iPad and there should be a inbuilt scaling system like the browser app has.

    Agree with both on this thread. I won’t even ask for syncing with iOS/Android dynamic text settings. Just SOME way to increase the font size within the app. Heck for even just the messages area - I’ll squint when I need to move channels. Is there anything in particular that is stopping this from coming?
