Messages not showing up if a name is mentioned

I'm on Discord Mobile on android and the messages are not showing up for me if a person's name is mentioned in it but it normally shows up if it doesn't have anyone's name mentioned. I've already tried deleting data and cache, uninstalling and reinstalling but the issue still persists.
