Discord Screen Sharing

Hi recently just bought a new hp omen laptop. I was in a group call and I screenshared my screen in which my whole screen is being shared (no particular window) and I muted my microphone. In doing so the people still in the call could hear me even though I muted. I have tried everything to fix it. Please don’t give me any basic solutions like reinstall discord or update windows and driver because I have already done that. The mute works fine when I am not sharing screen. This is very odd. Please let me know if anyone has a fix or if anyone has any similar experiences. Please help me out. Thanks

This is odd -

maybe you can use mute the Microphone via Windows temporarily, it would definitely fix your issue , probably

do you maybe use an application which allows you to hear yourself while speaking ?

because the Streaming feature *does* stream Desktop (or Appllication) Audio as well (at least for Windows)
