Discord Won't Automatically Set Me To Offline

Hi, I've noticed that when my friends close discord, or become inactive for a couple minutes, discord will automatically set their status to offline or idle. Same thing happens when they open discord on their phone. If they're already offline, discord will automatically set their status to online.

For some reason, discord doesn't do this for me. And i always appear as "do not disturb" no matter what. I have to manually change myself to offline and sometimes my friends will message me after i've forgotten to change my status to offline, and it looks like i'm ghosting them. It makes me feel really bad. Does anyone know how to fix this?
