Searching for animated emotes + searching for videos/images

Please add the ability to search for animated emotes instead of only static emotes. I see no reason why it should be limited to static emotes.

Same with videos or images. Searching for videos only seem to work if they are posted as links, not uploaded as file. Images seem to be the same in most cases.

    Hello,

    I see where your going and that would not be a bad idea. They probably only allow users to search for static emotes instead of animated emotes because of sending over and over or spam. Maybe if one way they could make it to where the animated emotes don't get spammy if they even only allow static emotes for that type of reason. Good idea.

    What are you talking about even? Spammy? I'm not talking about posting emotes. I'm talking about SEARCHING. You know, the search bar top right of discord to search for previous messages. It only allows for searching static emotes. This has literally nothing to do with spam.

    I have just received your reply. Thankyou for making the correction. Searching on the bar would make since to have permission to search for emojis.  I recently looked and what you said completely makes since now. Not a bad idea either! I am sure they will here your reply and maybe in the next update they will let us post for animated emotes. Have a good day
