Sending messages to multiple channels from one channel within a server group

Requesting that a feature be added so that a message in one channel on a server group can be sent to multiple other channels within that group.  This would be akin to how a user can send to multiple Twitter hashtags.  This would be helpful for example for a server group that is discussing stock trading.  The server would have multiple channels set up, one for each stock, and then people can talk in a general (main) channel and send copies to the other channels.  In that way, someone could find all of the discussion on that individual stock within that individual channel, instead of trying to sift and sort through search engine search results.  To clarify with an example, let's say there is a general channel #general and individual channels for stocks A and B that are #stockA and #stockB, respectively.  Then the message in the general channel might be something like "I'm considering buying #stockA and #stockB.  Is anyone else?"
