Option to let app send more than three unread message notifications at a time - Android
Sometimes I like to keep tabs on messages as they come in, but not respond. Every other chat app lets me do this through notifications (which get forwarded to my watch), but Discord only sends notifications for the first three new messages in each channel/DM. At times I have missed important messages, because they were not one of the first three new messages in a group, and I didn't know they came in until I opened the app.
Please consider adding an option to disable this rate limiting of notifications.

Edit - to clarify: if my phone is in my pocket, and I receive a message in a DM, my phone vibrates and shows the message in a notification, on the lockscreen and in the notification shade. If two more DMs from the same person come in, my phone will buzz twice more, and the two new messages will be added under the first in the notification.
Now, if a fourth message comes in, you would expect it to appear under the last message in the notification, maybe pushing out the first message for lack of space. This is how most chat apps work — Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, SMS — but Discord simply doesn't show the fourth message, or any after. This is a major frustration for me, requiring me to act on the notification (by tapping "mark as read," or opening the app to the message in question) to receive any more.
In the case of a busy group chat, that means constantly taking out my phone every three messages, rather than conveniently viewing new messages on my wrist as they come in. This severely limits Discord as a productive tool, as while I may not always have much to say myself, I am very interested in the discussion my collaborators are having.
Please consider adding an option to make Discord notifications behave like the other chat apps I mentioned.
