Allow role pings to be disabled per channel

I am having a problem in one of my servers where we have several channels to matchmake in Super Smash Bros. Melee, and one channel to find people that you meet on quickplay (since there's no ingame chat client). We also have pingable roles for regions and characters (e.g. @EC and @Falco) but there is no way to disable role pings in a channel if the roles are set to be pingable. Can you add a functionality in channel permissions to be able to disable pinging roles? This would be incredibly helpful as many of our channels should never get role pings.
