Better link preview control

As discord currently is, link previews are basic in terms of how to choose how they appears. "On or Off" But when previews are on users have no control. Post one link and the entire conversation you were having has now ascended to the heavens. I think users should be able to choose how posted link previews should come out, short text small image previews would be a welcome change.
