Block feature should actually work to block people

Knowing someone's every move with the current way is frustrating and causes people to use discord less. I have seen several people say they've left servers or stopped using discord because blocking people is supposed to be the safety net of online interaction. It's not helpful if you know when they're talking and can see what they're saying easily. Please make the block function work like it does on every other website. No visibility, no contact. Both are important.

    I just got an unhelpful automated response in regard to this. I recently blocked someone, but feel uncomfortable responding in a server we’re both in because he can still see my messages there and responds to them. It’s a huge privacy issue. I don’t feel safe knowing the people I block can still read/see what I send in servers. I can understand old DM messages being viewable to blocked accounts/people, but definitely not in a server where they can respond to newly sent messages.
