Auto startup pops up a window even though its set to start minimized

I have discord set to auto run on startup, and to start minimized. However when my computer starts up a discord window still opens up for a few seconds and then disappears. Its not super inconvenient, but pretty annoying when I'm trying to start another program and it comes up out of no where.
